Is JACK audio-server fully implemented?

Hi, not sure if this is the place to ask, let me know if not.

Trying Jami for video-calls over Debian (testing) and Arch I’ve found that the Arch version offers JACK as a possible audio-server (but couldn’t connect the Jami ports for input/output audio over JACK) whereas the Debian version doesn’t offers JACK at all, but, as reported in [1], seems to be a packager decision - in both cases using the official packages from updated repositories.

So, I would like to know if JACK is effectively implemented in Jami (as an optional audio-server) and if it’s fully usable (or to what extent). Does anybody know?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Best regards.

Hi @riveravaldez

Still don’t have an answer, but I’ll drop the mailing list thread here for others to see: Is JACK audio server implemented?
