Jami is pretty much unusable for instant messaging

I have tested this application with few people so far. All of us having the same settings:
-Start Jami on startup - enabled
-Run in background - enabled
-Enable UPnP - disabled
-Use DHT Proxy - disabled
-Enable local peer discovery - disabled
-Use TURN - enabled
-Battery optimization - disabled

Sometimes (or many times) it takes minutes or even tens of minutes for messages to be sent / received.
On top of that, if I want to run it through Tor, I must use DHT Proxy, which makes it into hours of messaging delay!

What is the point in using an application for instant messaging if it can not instant messaging?
Do you have the same issues?

your settings should work (even if on mobile without DHT proxy the battery consumption will be increased and there is no need to disable UPnP).

If you have logs/ precise scenarios to reproduce, feel free to help

On top of that, if I want to run it through Tor, I must use DHT Proxy, which makes it into hours of messaging delay!

With orbot, I don’t have any issue and no much delay on my device. But yeah Tor doesn’t support UDP so proxy is needed.
