One of the strengths of Skype was I could have a meeting with co-workers over Skype, share screen and talk, then, dial a customer by phone, include them in the discussion and kick them out when we’re done with them.
My question is can I bridge Jami VOIP with SIP phone calls?
In theory, yes. The backend supports it and the API exists and I already used this feature.
In practice, the current desktop client doesn’t show active calls on another account. So there is no button in the GUI for this. But yeah, before you just have to make your sip call, jami call and there is a button to add participants. Previously it was showing active calls on other accounts and you could create a conference between sip/jami.
Technically, a jami and a sip call are using the same protocols
