Jami on Raspberry Pi Not Detecting Network

Given the comment by W192547975, I did the following:

  1. I installed Jami on a Virtual Box instance of Debian, and whilst logged in as user “jamiserver” I imported a Jami backup file from another device.
  2. I then went to the list of linked devices, and edited the name of the instance to the name of the intended Jami server. I could see the device listed on other devices (displayed using its edited name), and everything worked normally. That done, I quit Jami.
  3. Next I stopped the Jami daemon on the intended server (the Pi), and deleted its existing files in .config/jami and .local/share/jami.
  4. Then I rsynced the new config as per the instructions in the Jami for servers documentation, all as user “jamiserver”.
  5. Finally I restarted the Jami server.

The Jami server does not appear in the list of linked devices on any of the other devices. I’m not sure where to go from here.
