As of 3(?) updates ago, my Windows 10 machine hasn’t been able to access emoji selection. This update also caused the same problem on my Windows 11 machine. The updates after “fixed” this problem for as long as I had the program on. Once I shut down my PC and turned it back on, trying to access emoji selection crashes Jami again. I don’t use my Windows 11 machine enough to know if it’s the same way over there.
I have the same problem on Windows 10. Usually it crashes the first time I press the button to display emojis, but having restarted Jami and sent the crash report, it’s OK after that. I have also been in the situation where nothing gets displayed after the button has been clicked other than the tooltips, which is very weird.
I’ve tried that, and it didn’t fix it. I also tried restarting my PC so that it’s forced to do a “proper” shutdown and still didn’t fix it.
As of the last update, this issue appears to be resolved.
