I think this will make our address book more practical, as changing the name of a contact person can be a headache. Especially when there are many contacts

Or at least the possibility to add tags (ex. Friends; Family; Work; etc.) to contacts and then filter/sort the address book by tag.

I spent 10 minutes on a fresh installed Jami Eleuteria Version: 202311232042 without being able to find where this feature is hidden…

Is it as difficult as trying to find Jami’s version when the window is not maximized and the welcome pane does not display?

Thanks, but I was not talking about renaming a contact (by the way, this information is lost from time to time, for a reason I ignore), but being able to add a tag like Family or Book Club and then filtering the contact list on these tags.

A less useful ordering is having a tree-like contact list, because a contact cannot pertain to multiple branches:

  • My Contacts
    • Family
      • Dad
      • Mum
    • Book Club
      • Robert
      • Mihaela

It’s possible, maybe Jami has already added it to the schedule, but their tasks are more than expected
