With swarms you are almost feature ready to be able to extend to a social interface where subscriptions can be added.
Use case:
“User A” has a “my feed” entry in their conversations list in which they can post anything they like.
If “User A” has accepted a follow request from “User B” then anything posted into the “my feed” conversation will go to “User B”.
“User B” will then receive items from “User A”'s feed in their “User A” conversation entry.
“User B” can then reply to a post and choose if that reply should link to the “User A” feed so that other “User A” feed subscribers can see the reply. If that option is selected “User A” can allow the proliferation of that reply.

A social network element would be great. Either a feed view option as described above, or simple blog functionality.
Unique though Jami is, there are alot of other chat options, but there are no real social network alternatives.
