Hi all!
Jami lacks a feature to control the playback speed of media files, particularly audio files. I sometimes send a long file to someone I’m talking to, and sometimes they send it to me. If it’s long, I’d like to set the playback speed to 1.25 or even 1.5 to reduce listening time.
Please add the feature.
The necessity of this feature is not particularly high, as it would increase the workload for the open-source team. In practice, you can achieve playback speed adjustment by long-pressing the media file and selecting to open it with a third-party player. This is actually a more reasonable solution, as it ensures the software remains lean and avoids becoming bloated.
That’s what I’m doing now. I only suggested it to bring Jami’s functionality up to par with its competitors.

Jami’s updates are relatively slow. If there were more community developers like you, Jami would become an excellent software
