Can’t receive sip calls on Linux.
Tried calling from both Jami and Linphone on my phone. Linphone tells me in audio form that the number is currently unavailable when I accept the call on Linux. Jami just says “Missed outgoing call” in chat. Calling from Linux to android works fine.
Does the Linux version of Jami support SRTP? If yes, why else would it not be working?
I am using version 20260522 from Flathub.

SRTP supported, so probably not the problem. If you can initiate **SIP** calls but not receive them, check that your SIP account is still registered, and check for NAT/firewall or Flathub sandbox issues. The debug logs should tell if it’s a registration problem or a regression in that Linux build.
Managed to somewhat make Jami work on the desktop, but it’s still buggy.
The only reason for attempting to make Jami work on the desktop is because Linphone sends the server the device name, which can’t be disabled in the desktop version. (Jami just sends OS name - Linux / Android) It’s probably a fools errand, better not to have a phone on the desktop at all. Anywas..
Checked the logs, lot’s of stuff I don’t much understand, but what I got from it is that the desktop client tells me that the phone hung up and the android phone tells it disconnected with code 488 (Not Acceptable Here).
It seems that the first account I tested with was misconfigured server side. I did manage to make it work on the desktop with Linphone on the android device eventually.
Now Jami on the phone doesn’t work. Dunno why this debugging is draining.
Also now I found a new problem with only one account connecting on both the repo and the flatpak version on the desktop. (Only the account selected at launch connects)
What a mess telephony is.
