If one of the ports on our device is restricted by the operator for inbound traffic, can the DHT and jami’s programs recognise this restriction of inbound traffic and change the port in time to maintain a normal jami connection?

Nous ne connaissons rien à l’informatique, mais nous constatons régulièrement des dysfonctionnements qui pourraient peut-être en lien avec cette question de ports limité par l’opérateur.
C’est en tout cas une question pertinente à propos de la liberté des utilisateurs jami, car nous ne sommes pas souverains, mais dépendant de Fournisseurs d’Accès à Internet

Ports used by DHT are documented here:
dht: UDP [4000, 8888] audio: UDP [16384-32766] video: UDP [49152-65534] SIP Control: UDP/TCP randomly bound
You may consider using a DHT Proxy even on a desktop Jami if you believe that UDP ports 4000 and 8888 are restricted for your connection.
Thanks for the reply, but in China, at least in my province, the dht proxy doesn’t work!
