Feels like a memory leak

I’m experiencing an issue that has the hallmarks of a memory leak, but probably isn’t. All of the threads on my account are huge, with some large files also.

After a little time, the memory used by Jami balloons.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug, or a feature?

You might want to have a look here; as far as I recall, this issue was brought to attention quite some time ago.
