I have been using JAMI’s screen sharing feature recently to watch my friends play games, but the screen sharing image of JAMI blurs into small color blocks in the dynamic full screen of the game. Although the latency is very low and only occupies 1Mbps bandwidth, I still hope to provide options that occupy more bandwidth, sacrifice more performance, and improve image quality for live streaming, which is a fast-moving image.
Thanks to all the developers for their hard work. I really like this software!
- In Jami, click Open settings button
- Click Media tab
- Click Screen sharing option
- Increase the default Frames per second of 30 to 60, 120 or 144 (please make sure that your graphics card supports the higher rate)
You could also try to use a virtual camera to share the screen like OBS virtual camera and if you are using Jami go to Media > Video > Device and select “OBS Virtual Camera”.
