I fetched the latest android version from the play store (same link screen as before).
I also fetched the latest repos (opendht, …, jami-client-qt) and built them, and the link screen IS now different and takes text input “jami-auth://<*>/<*>”.

While the long code is surely more secure, the previous short code was certainly more convenient. I’m not sure how much of a benefit such a long code provides for such a short period normally attributed to linking.
