I can't use Jami

I downloaded it Jami successfully. But it isn’t connected to the Internet. Except Jami, all softwares on my device can be connected to the Internet. Jami can’t be connected even if I use VPN.
What’s the reason? How should I do to solve it?

Understanding public IPv4/IPv6, Jamie needs this

How can you tell that Jami is not connected to the Internet. You see a red or yellow dot beside your Jami account ? What operating system do you use ?

My mobile phone can use IPv4.
There is IPv6 on my mobile phone, but it can’t use IPv6.

Jami seems to be connected to the Internet. But in fact,I can’t send or receive messages, which is terrible.
Jami can’t receive messages even if there is a green dot beside my account.
I use Android.
I am in China,a country banning Jami. Therefore,I have to use VPN。I can watch YouTube fluently but I can’t use Jami fluently.
Sometimes,I send and receive messages successfully, but the speed is so slow.

You need to use public network IPv4/IPv6 to understand this. China’s network has severe NAT and without public network IPv4/IPv6, it will become very troublesome for you to use Jami. Learn how to have a public network IPv6 and then have your Jami run under public network IPv6. Others also need this

You must let your friends, as well as yourself, use the public network ipv6, so that you can communicate with each other without obstacles, and you need to set up Jami correctly. There are such tutorials on the Chinese Internet. The public network ipv6 can be obtained by using the mobile number on the mobile phone

Follow the operation of the Chinese Internet tutorial, which has been described clearly. If you want to use Jami more easily, you can set it in that way. If you want to use other methods, you need to learn relevant concepts.

Hello, Could I ask you a few questions? First, there are two connection modes when using Jami on an Android phone. One is local Dht and the other is Google service. Is there any difference between these two modes? Because I don’t want the network service provider to see which IP address my information was sent to. How can I avoid being seen by the network service provider to see which IP address the information was sent to? Which information (text, voice clips, pictures, files, video calls) can avoid the recipient’s IP being exposed? Second, text, voice clips, pictures, files, video calls. Which of the above information is encrypted and will not expose the recipient’s IP address? Third, using Jami on an Android phone. Text, voice clips, pictures, files, do the above information use memory encryption or anti-debugging technology to prevent malware from extracting plaintext data from memory? Because I am worried that if the phone has virus software, it will steal the information in Jami. The above are my questions, thank you for your answer, thank you.
