Incoming call changes custom contact name. How to make it stick?

I enter my mobile phone number into my linux pc jami program in the search bar. I click the contact button to create it as a contact. Then in the window on the right I change the contact name to “ Paco mobile “. Then I call my jami sip number (home phone) with my mobile, and as a result the contact name changes to my mobile phone (Rogers Canada) caller id. This happens for every number in my contact list. Incoming calls change the custom name to the caller id of the caller. I want to keep the custom names. How to do this?

  1. Click on the contact name in the left panel.
  2. Click the Details button on the top right.
  3. Click on the Contact name field.
  4. Edit the value in the contact name field.
  5. Press the Enter key.
