When people send me pictures ‘m not getting them displayed inline on the chat, just a white square where it should be. I’m running on a T60 Laptop running Trisquel Linux MATE 11. I suspect it maybe the power of the laptop? Image attached

Your suspicion is reasonable, as everything is currently functioning normally on my device
Could be a couple things, are you using the official system install or a flatpak? Could also be a multimedia codec issue with your OS or even a driver.
I’m using the original. I have tried the same method on a non Librebooted new laptop using the same OS (Trisquel Linux 11 MATE), Jami installed via also installed via the repo, inline media working OK on that.
I’m thinking it is more the Core2duo CPU is struggling as the UI of Jami is a but sluggish at times.
