HI I have jami on android and my display name is fine but when i have it on windows and use the same display name same as i have on android but it won’t do anything.
I type display name on jami windows and it done nothing. Is it a bug or something?
It is the latest download jami version.
If you have multiple devices that have been linked so they have the same username, then changing the display name on one device should automatically sync the display name on the other devices.
If this does not happen, could you please add yourself to your contacts/conversations?
Once you are in your contacts/conversations list and both devices with the same username and are online and reachable, click/tap “Start audio call” or click/tap “Start video call” with yourself. Please attempt this from Android to Windows and also from Windows to Android.
