I have just installed Jami on Tails and created a new account without a username but it doesn’t seem to be connecting at all.
Does Jami work on Tails? I was under the impression it would considering it has a download option for Debian OS.

As of now the version of Jami included in Debian’s official repositories is very old, unfortunately. We are working on fixing that, but in the meantime, I recommend installing Jami from https://jami.net/download/. If Tails is for the most part compatible with the Debian version it’s based on, you should be able to install Jami built for the corresponding version of Debian on which Tails is based on.
