JAMI on Ubuntu 22.04

There seems to be 2 installs of JAMI appearing in the Applications/Activities. One is setup with Snap, the other, I don’t know. But I also see a ppa in the software updates list. How will I be able to find out which icon goes with Snap and which goes with apt / ppa?

Je ne pourrais pas forcément te répondre mais les snaps permettent de stoker les informations des applications

I need a translation to english on this comment, please.

if you installed jami twice (apt & snap) you can just remove the one you do not want and you will just have one left “sudo apt-get remove jami” and remove the ppa for example.

I couldn’t necessarily answer you, but snaps allow you to store information from applications
