Like many others, I come to the forum looking for help and asking for improvements to Jami (sometimes! ). On this May 1st (International Workers’ Day), let’s celebrate all the Jami developers who work hard
to bring us a unique free/libre, end-to-end encrypted, and private communication software. In an age when social media have become sadly synonymous with information control, Jami offers us an alternative to share freely without reinforcing technological empires
.
Many thanks to the developers for all their efforts to improve Jami. We had so many updates in the recents weeks, wow ! I feel blessed to have a royalty-free software like Jami to replace Skype and… much more. Finally, software where the user is not the product!
Jami isn’t perfect, but it’s come a long way
since Ring! I propose that we share on this post what Jami has brought us
since we started using it. Perhaps it will also help Jami’s designers and conceptors to see the added value of this tool from the user’s perspective!
