I am trying to link an account on my phone to my desktop, but the desktop app does not give me a QR-code to scan. The app on the phone asks me to scan a QR code or to enter an auth code, but the desktop app does not provide any of that.
Instead, the desktop app asks me to enter a code from the device I am exporting from??
I can’t figure out how to properly link an account from mobile to desktop.
I had that issue when I was using an old version of Jami on my Linux computer. For instance, the version listed here is not necessarily the latest: Download Jami for GNU/Linux (for Zorin OS 16). The info requires updating by the Jami Team.

Can you please check that you have the latest version of Jami installed on your computer ?
I am using the Arch Linux package. (technically CachyOS package, but the only difference is that the CachyOS package is compiled for x86-64-v3 on my specific machine)
