Hello, I’m new to Jami and love the privacy aspects!!
Unfortunately the Jami app (gnome-ring) keeps crashing when I click the “Media” tab.
I’m using Linux Mint Mate 20.1. Kernel info:
5.4.0-62-generic #70-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jan 12 12:45:47 UTC 2021 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
dring gets launched properly, at least I can find it in my ps aux when Jami is running.
The crash messages I get when pressing the “Media” tab:
could not open shm area "" , shm_open failed: Invalid argument
QObject: Cannot create children for a parent that is in a different thread.
(Parent is Video::ShmRenderer(0x7f68f400fba0), parent's thread is QThread(0x5625176d0ca0), current thread is QThread(0x562517144530)

My shm partition seems fine:
$ mount | grep -i shm
tmpfs on /dev/shm type tmpfs (rw,nosuid,nodev)
Please help!
