Please have the linux client also work on mobile linux devices and have a mobile user interface that is as user friendly as the Android and iOS versions of Jami.
Linux phones are getting popular and as Jami being a privacy communications apps, it would be amazing to see Jami being supported on Linux mobile devices.

So from what I understand, you should try the jami-qt client as a linux mobile client 
I will have to try the Qt client when I get a linux phone or if mobile linux distros can be ran in virtualbox and see if the Qt client fully works and has a good mobile UI. I am not sure how good the GUI will be on mobile devices and with touch screen support.
