Hi,
I would like to use Jami (in my Debian12) with one colleague running Windows 10.
My Jami Debian works well between 2 linux machines. But with a Jami Windows, we can send text (discussion work), but for video call I received Video, without sound and he received nohing..
Are there some configuration stuff to do ?
Have you enabled the video call feature?
Yes sure, using Parameters/Media Jami’s menu.
Has your friend enabled this feature?
Yes we did it the both sides.
Is Εἰρήνη the version of Jami installed on your Debian computers?
Unfortunately, Jami from the Debian repository is outdated, unmaintained, and incompatible and is causing poor user experiences.
Please ensure that you have downloaded and installed Jami for Debian using the:
-
DEB installation file.
Instructions are available at Debian — Jami documentation -
Flatpak from Flathub.
