No microphone will work on Dell Precision 3680 Win 11

I’ve tried (2 different) Logitech 880 headsets, Logitech Brio Camera built in Microphone, and even an MXL 990 through a Behringer UMC240HD. I’ve double checked all settings, both in Jami and in Win 11 Sound settings device properties and made sure to kill Jami in task manager and restart it with each test. I also completed the tests by shutting down the system completely and starting it up again. Each microphone I test works fine in other Windows apps such as Adobe Audition. The Logitech 800 headsets worked fine in Skype and Microsoft Teams within an hour before I installed Jami. I even directly connected my computer to my cox router via eithernet cable and disconnected my wireless dongle to eliminate any possibility of that interfering on the USB bus. 40+ years in IT, and this one has me stumped. Any ideas?

Slightly more detail in this addendum.

Dell Precision 3680, New system, latest Jami download. I’ve tried 4 different mics and Jami does not transmit the audio from any of them and doesn’t include the local mic in a session recording. Jami recognizes the devices and will even show activity on them during tests but does not output even minimal quality audio. The person I was meeting with said they occasionally got static but nothing more.
The mics I’ve tried are Logitech 880 (2 different mics), Logitech Brio 4k mic, MXL 990 connected via a Behringer UMC204HD adapter, and a Comica Boom X-D connected through a Comprehensive CSD-4KCD150 capture device. All four of these microphones work fine with the following Windows Apps: Skype, MS Teams, Adobe Premier Pro, and Adobe Audition.
During testing I’ve verified that all other recording devices were disabled as I tested each mic. Since all of these devices use USB and I seen reports of WIFI USB dongles causing issues I disabled and removed my USB WIFI and connected directly to my ISP router via Ethernet cable. I uninstalled the MAXXAudio software as GROK found a reference saying MAXX could cause issues with Jami.
