A contact is trying to send me video files of their Christmas party but the transfer stops about 25%. Ive tied restarting the client and we can still message eachother. Any ideas?
if it makes any difference they are using iOS
Interestingly If I send a message the download resumes for a couple of seconds - as if a firewall is dropping for the message to be delivered
We got there in the end by keeping the chat going. It would be good to keep the transfer up until its complete

Large file transfers with slow internet connections work well with the Jami Desktop client.

Alternatively, the situation may occur because of the Apple iOS operating system. Upgrading Google Android and Apple iOS proprietary mobile operating systems to the GrapheneOS operating system may help.
