Password issue with linking account and backing up

Hi. I have an account I created around April 25, 2020. Everything works with the account just fine. However I went to link the account from my Linux computer to my phone and I noticed it wont accept my password. I checked my password manager and it’s an old password I have used sometimes in the past in other place (not good, but I don’t do that anymore). I doesn’t accept that password. The password I have was saved into the password manager on this date as well. Can this be some type of bug with older accounts? Is there a way to fix this, since I still have access to the account and use it? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

I have an idea, install a version released in 2020 (210 ~ 278), import your account, then upgrade Jami and back up. You can download APKs from archive of the F-Droid repository, the pattern of URLs is,
https://f-droid.org/archive/cx.ring_{version}.apk
For example, https://f-droid.org/archive/cx.ring_238.apk

Hi Rubus_chiliandenus! Thanks for the suggestion. I never had it on the phone though. Only on my Linux PC. And it was called Jami back then as well. The files on my PC are under ~/.local/share/jami. Would I be able to copy these files directly into the Android application this way?
