I have recently tried to install Jami on my ubuntu-touch smart phone via the snaps packet manager. It seemed to work (sort of) but the fonts are much to small and no virtual keyboard popped up. Since there is no video-messenger available for ubuntu-touch as yet but there are versions out for almost any platform (windows,ios,android,linux) it might be interesting for you to come up with a version with a layout style similar to android thet would fit the ubuntu-touch platform. I argue the ubports community would be eager to help you with the task of porting Jami to their system. I am not a programmer but in the early days (2017) I helped the jami developers (then Ring) to trouble shoot. Thank you very much. Thank you for the wonderful work you have done.
