Problem with receiving video and sound

Wolfy, I had the exact same issue too.

I video call with my dad a couple of states away. He is 91 years old, jami is a great way to communicate with him. I worked all afternoon, doing the same things you did and was sure it wasn’t either of my or dad’s computers.

Here is what I finely did:

On both my dad’s computer and mine (because we both kept up on the jami updates) we performed the following steps.

  1. I deleted the jami program from windows programs and features.
  2. I downloaded the older 29250609 version of jami from: Index of /windows/archive
  3. Installed the earlier version of jami and turned off the auto update reminder.
  4. Started jami up on both sides and everything fired right up like normal.

I’m not to worried about having new updates or new features so we can stay on this version. Maybe I’ll try a little later when there have been a few more updates. Maybe by then jami will have resolved this problem. If not, I know how to revert back to an older working version.
