I’ve no clue why this isn’t posted already here.
I was poking around my settings (issue with Linked Devices area not displaying (showing previous selected area)), and App access and Shared services caught my eye…
O M G! THIS IS FANTASTIC!
While I haven’t tested it, just the concept alone ought to be desired enough.
I think my first encounter with the concept was with Tor. Also with cloudflared.
A use-case I can think of is using VNC to help contacts, something I’ll be exploring soon I think.
Again, I haven’t tested it, but I think it’s a great feature to have if it will work the way I hope.
I’m currently in the middle of connecting to CF WARP using wireguard since I’m behind a nasty/dirty/unfriendly CGNAT. I hope/expect to not need TURN anymore for P2P stuff. We’ll see.
Truly, good on those involved in its creation.
EDIT0: I could see it being more friendly by providing a list of listening TCP services accessible by the user during setup to select from (no need to manually fill out the listening ip/port).
