SIP call using Jami, other party can't hear

I am using JAMI to connect to my VoIP provider who uses SIP.

Jami as a SIP client registers on the server. I dial a number using JAMI, the remote phone rings and the person answers. I can hear them on JAMI, but they are unable to hear me.

Please note there is no issue with my VoIP provider, When I use a different SIP client - the remote party can hear me.

What am I missing on the JAMI configuration for SIP

Edit: The Jami client is on Android and the app is the latest version from Playstore Maloya

I’m having the same issue with my OSX-based JAMI client as a SIP phone when I try to use our private PBX (Freeswith/FusionPBX) to contact another SIP phone.

Don’t have any issues with other SIP/VOIP clients like LinPhone, Zoiper, etc.

Can JAMI be used as a generic SIP/VOIP client or must it always connect to another client instance of JAMI?
