I want to switch on open source solution to replace Skype.
Skype was very user friendly and stable.
Have you some feedback about stability off this product?
My 1st test with 2 fresh installation was great

Hello what do you mean by “automatic pickup conversation” ?
Jami was on background.
I was on Firefox surfing and I heard my interlocutor without accepting the call…
In Jami’s settings, go to Call settings (under Account) and make sure “Automatically answer incoming calls” is not enabled.
I had the same problem. Please ask your partner to check their webcam selection (Settings…Media…Video, or click the up-arrow on the camera icon whilst making a video call). It may be set to something random that isn’t actually a camera.
Sorry after different intents with no technical peoople, my feedback is not positive.
It’s not stable and not working well.
I have hoped to find an alternative to skype opensource but at the end, we are going to use proprietary solution.
