Hello. There is no notification alert for new messages on the icon. Is this feature missing or needing to be configured?

me three, this site uses a sweet notification badge but none on the tray icon for the desktop version
I have the same problem.

I don’t get any notification pop-up when there’s a new message, and the Jami windows is not in focus, which is very puzzling.
I’ve gone through all the settings, and have switched notifications on wherever I found a setting that could be even remotely associated with notifications. Still nothing at all.
So yeah, add me to the list of people asking if pop-up notifications are supported in Windows?
