I tried Jami on Ubuntu desktop, and it worked flawlessly.

Windows, big issues with sound

… and you don’t have to continue with Microsoft Windows. Our operating system is Linux Mint Cinnamon edition. Someone we communicate with used Jami on Microsoft Windows. The call experience was less than ideal. After upgrading their operating system from Windows to Linux Mint, the call experience in audio-only and video calls has worked flawlessly.
