Microphone issues. Android 16

Hello Jamers!

I have a problem. Jami on Android 16 (Euclid 20260408-01) isn’t accessing the microphone.

I’ve tested it on the same phone with other apps, and they work perfectly. I don’t see any interference from other apps on the microphone. The same software version works on an older phone with Android 12. I’ve checked the app permissions, and they seem fine. I don’t use headphones or Bluetooth.

Has anyone else encountered the same problem? Thanks.

Thanks for the report.
We’ve recently published some fixes for Android 16. Could you please try with the latest version of Jami for Android and confirm if you still encounter the issue ?
